12 - 15 months

As an infant turns into a toddler, their main focus is to get moving so that they can be independent.

As well as moving their feet, they are also keen to develop their concentration, which they can do whilst they learn to focus on small hand movements.

To encourage these fine (small) and gross (large) motor skills you can prepare simple movement activities which develop their concentration, by focusing on one movement at a time.
